Concession Stand Operations
In May 2006 the City of Paso Robles Parks and Recreation awarded the food
concession contract to the Paso Robles Lions Club. As a result, the Lions
combined its recourses with the newly sponsored PRHS Leo Club to manage and
staff the two concession stands.
The concession stands are open week nights and weekends during regular
season and tournament softball and soccer games. The Parks and Recreation
Department has scheduled regular season softball in the spring, summer and
fall. Soccer is scheduled for summer and fall. Weekend softball and soccer
tournament games are generally from January to November two to four weekends
a month.
Proceeds generated for the concession operation is distributed by the Lions
and Leo’s for Lions eyesight preventable blindness programs, student
scholarships, youth organizations and service projects performed by the
Lions or Leo Clubs.
Any youth organization interested in earning a donation for helping staff
the concession stand can contact Lion John Boes or Lion Wally Ohles. The
